At ISAW, we adhere to one guiding principle: “Drink Well, Do Good”.  In February of 2008, a vision emerged to change the South African wine industry.  The vision was that through the celebration and appreciation of fine wine we can simultaneously uplift and educate while diminishing poverty and inequality.  Traditionally a symbol of affluence and refinement, wine is entrenched in a mystical curiosity, which fascinates and inspires.  ISAW is privileged to have such a platform to embody a message of social transformation.

In fact, ISAW sees the unifying beauty of this world in every bottle of wine.  Each bottle contains a myriad of elements portrayed in the final product.  The land, climate, and lives of everyone involved from a specific moment in time are encapsulated by a cork, uncorked, and then relived. Once poured, a message is revealed in how we connect our history, culture, humanity, nature, and quality of life.
